Named for it’s location at the intersection of Ponce de Leon and North Highland Ave., Poncey-Highland is the corridor that bridges between Midtown and Virginia-Highland and provides a perfect blend of both these distinct neighborhoods. Poncey-Highland is home to The Carter Presidential Center which includes the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum and the Carter Center, the organization dedicated to promoting human rights and the alleviation of human suffering. Manuel’s Tavern, located on North Highland, is a presidential favorite and Atlanta’s quintessential neighborhood bar.
